A wonderful hike with James and Jackson at Fonte da Benémola on this perfect Portuguese day. The cloudless blue sky keeping us company in tandem with the constant chit chat from the birds, the babbling of the stream, and hardly a soul in sight. I’ll let my photos do the talking……..

I walk around in awe at all the available wildflowers. Frequently when I am taking a photo somebody will ask me what I am seeing……..I love to quote my friend Gwen McCauley and remind them they need to look down from time to time, not only out or up!

Yes, one of my favourite go to places. I try to go a few times during my stay as it’s always changing with the season.

Beautiful. I don’t know if it comes from being brought up in National Parks but being out in Nature’s beauty fills me with calmness and serenity.

Me too Sharon, I simply feel zen when I’m in the great outdoors. It’s one of the things that keeps me coming back here during our Canadian winters. This is my 10th year!
