Another glorious day of “soaking it in”. The sun, the blue sky, the shoppers, the loud hungry (for sales) vendors, and simply living life here in our winter paradise. I’ll allow the photos to speak for themselves in this blog……..you’ll see for yourself how busy and wonderful it all was.

And of course, then there are the folks we “bump” into. We both love this part so much. Apparently we missed out on seeing a few of our friends but in fairness to us, it was jam packed today and we did make the rounds twice so….if we missed you here, maybe we’ll see you in Estoi next Sunday!!!

We bought spices from our favourite spice vendor, lemon pepper and cardamon, plus fresh cheese for breakfast for tomorrow, and that’s about it.

And to make it all that more enjoyable for you…….Marc made you this……..
Market Days are so much fun! This one looks a bit like a flea market, still great buys I bet. How do you resist?
Luckily, neither Marc nor I are shoppers. This wasn’t a flea market, everything being sold was brand new plus, of course, all the farmers. I love seeing folks buying all the chickens, ducks, and other fowl. You ought to hear them as they are being stuffed in boxes!!
All this brings warmth to another cold day…-18! But tomorrow it’s warming up. Spring is coming! Have a great week.
Fingers crossed that spring is just around the corner for you. Big hugs
I love that everyone flocks to the markets, locals and tourists and that it is a great meeting place for one and all. I also enjoy the bustling, bartering and the business side of the markets…the hollering, and all the ‘deals’ to be made! Great people watching!
Looks like more than one piggy went to market, bank, I mean! LOL!
Once again, Marc’s video made this blog very real for me; I could almost feel the warmth of the sunshine! đŸ¤—
Yes, those piggy banks jumped out at me yesterday as a cute photo opportunity. I too love all the people watching and most especially the “noise” of the market…..it makes me happy and brings out a perpetual smile.
