Once again the rain stayed away for most of our outdoor wanderings, for which we are all grateful. We left home just after 9h30, first stop the recycle bins. Mr, Rooster (above) was not at all happy with our presence as we discarded our garbage and recycle, in his opinion, a bit to close to his garden. He was quite vocal and honestly, I love the sound, it always makes me smile.
I’m referring to them as Curly, Larry, and Moe. I leave it to your imagination! They’re all good sports and smile for me when I ask them to pose. From here, we headed off to LoulĂ©, simply to wander, visit the market, see how the weather evolved, and decide from there.
It’s great fun to meander up and down previously explored streets and alleys and still stumble unto something new. That plus seeing it through others eyes is delightful. Wendy and Norm are great for wandering and exploring and take joy in most of the same things we do, which is also wonderful.
The sky (by now) was darkening a little and we sat to enjoy a coffee in the local market building then made a decision to head off and make a pit stop at a local shopping area then go for lunch.
We decided on pizza for lunch, never a bad decision (enjoy Phyl).
With all the walking, the chatter, and certainly the food, we were all by this time feeling a bit zonked and so after discussion with Marc we determined that it might be fun to take Wendy and Norm to see Faro Beach, not only for the enjoyment of the beach but also because there is a yellow weather alert for costal events, which would guarantee us pretty amazing waves. It didn’t disappoint.
Another great day and again, we did not get rained on at all. Also, according to the new forecast, our bad weather is just about behind us and shorts are on the horizon. IN the meantime, sit back and enjoy Praia do Faro (Beach) compliments of Marc.
Another awesome exciting day of adventure, food , friends and also the lovely people of Portugal !

It’s nice to see you all enjoying yourselves and keeping busy exploring. I had a little chuckle at the shoes, the ones with all the butterflies on them were quite brilliant weren’t they! I think the ones in the upper right would be the ones for you Randy. I can just see them on you now. Of course you’d have to buy different wardrobe to wear with them but oh well.
I had such a difficult time trying to figure out which one was Wendy and which one was the statue!
